Foam

Foam

Biodegradable liquid, high foam mixture for use with fresh, hard or saltwater solutions for air drilling.

Mixing

• DRY AIR DRILLING & DUST SUPPRESSION: 0.5 to 1 pint per 100 gallons water
• MIST DRILLING IN STICKY CLAYS: 1 to 2 quarts per 100 gallons water
• ALL PURPOSE FOAM DRILLING: 0.5 to 2 gallons per 100 gallons water
• GEL/FOAM DRILLING: 0.5 to 2 gallons per 100 gallons water
• BATCH TREATMENTS TO CLEAN THE HOLE: 1 pint foam and 5 gallons water added directly to the drill pipe
• Extreme Foam should be added after mixing Bentonite Gel or Extreme Alkamer Liquid Polymer for superior stiff foam drilling.
• Inject at a rate of 10 to 20 gallons per hour . Gel/Foam and stiff foam mixtures are injected at 5 to 10 gallons per hour .

Principal Uses

• Increases penetration rate and improves hole cleaning capabilities.
• Ideal for drilling through lost circulation zones and for reducing compressor requirements.
• Effectively foams water flows to improve drilling conditions and depth capacity.
• Eliminates sticking tendencies of clays, preventing mud rings.
• Provides maximum foam quality in small concentrations and is very effective in fresh, hard or salty make up waters.
